About the Maxi Yatzy leaderboard

This board ranks completed games of Maxi Yatzy by final score. Maxi Yatzy is Yatzy scaled up: six dice instead of five, and a twenty-category scorecard that exploits every combination the extra die makes possible - a game rated Medium where a good game scores 300+; six dice make big combinations routine and choices harder. The current top score here is 527 by Anonymous.

How ranking works

  • Only completed scorecards count, and every result is checked for a plausible score, roll count and time before it's listed.
  • Ties break toward the faster finish, rewarding decisive play as well as big scores.
  • Signed-in players keep a permanent name on the board and sync records across devices; guests can still post a display name.
  • Switch between Today, This Week, This Month and All Time above to see recent form or lifetime bests.

What counts as a good Maxi score?

Scores vary a lot by variant and by dice, but here's a rough guide to aim for:

Just learningFinishing the card at all is the win - don't watch the total yet.
Casual playerA comfortable game that lands near the average.
Getting goodBeating 300 regularly by protecting bonuses and planning zeros.
Board contenderWell past 300 with a five-of-a-kind or two banked.

The fastest way to climb this board isn't lucky dice - it's routing every roll to the row where it's worth most and taking your zeros where they hurt least.

Leaderboard FAQ

How does the Yahtzee leaderboard work?

It ranks completed scorecards by final score, highest first. Every result is checked for a plausible score, roll count and time before it is listed, and ties break toward the faster finish.

What counts as a good Yahtzee score?

Anything over 250 is a good classic game and 300+ is excellent. Each variant has its own scale - Yatzy tops out at 374 while Triple Yahtzee runs into four figures.

Do I need an account to appear on the leaderboard?

No. Guests can post a display name. A free account keeps a permanent name and syncs your records across devices.

Can I compare scores fairly?

Yes - play the daily challenge, where everyone gets the identical dice stream, so scores are directly comparable.
