Can you get more than one Yahtzee in a game?

Each Yahtzee after your first is worth a 100-point bonus, marked separately on the card. The one condition: your Yahtzee category must contain a 50. If you already zeroed the box on a bad turn, later Yahtzees earn no bonus - which is why the bonus rules argue against sacrificing the Yahtzee box early in the game.

Because the Yahtzee box is already full, the extra Yahtzee's dice must also be scored somewhere else. The joker rules direct them first to the matching upper box - five fours go in Fours for 20 - and if that's taken, into an open lower category, where the roll counts as a valid full house or straight. Played well, a repeat Yahtzee is worth 100 plus whatever the second box pays.

With about a 4.6% chance per fully-chased turn, a single Yahtzee shows up roughly once every couple of games - so doubles are rare treats and triples are stories you tell people. When one lands, it usually decides the game, especially in multiplayer where both players face the same rolls. In Triple Yahtzee, a well-placed one can be worth triple.
