What is Triple Yahtzee?

Triple Yahtzee uses the standard 13-category card three times over: the first column scores at face value, the second doubles, and the third triples - 39 cells to fill in one long game. The dice rules are pure Yahtzee: five dice, three rolls, keep what you like. Only the scorecard has grown teeth.

The multiplier turns every good roll into a dilemma. A full house is worth 25, 50 or 75 depending on the column, and a Yahtzee is 50, 100 or 150 - so the temptation is to hoard the x3 column for greatness. But zeros are multiplied by position on the card too, in the sense that wasting the x3 Chance on a garbage roll stings three times as much. Balancing greed against insurance is the game's real skill.
